My Project

Let's begin the year with counting!

My mathematicians love to count!

They want to count everything during our Counting Collections!

My little mathematicians need to count and these counters / manipulatives will support them in that. Students need many opportunities to engage in counting with various amounts and in different ways. During Counting Collections my mathematicians will use these counters to count, add, subtract and compare values.

These counters will also be used so students can count to build number sense and develop their understanding of place value.
