My Project

Over the course over the year i have been here i've been able to secure instruments of any caliber for my students. Whether if the instrument was not functional any more, or if the instrument was years old and needed a new look. There is one instrument i have not been able to secure due to the pricey amount and thats the sousaphone im requesting. I want to continue to grow our marching band program before the closing of our school and my goal is to have at least 3 working tubas so i can put some an inspiring musician on there to continue the growth of our band program.

The kids down here really want to see the growth of the band with all the hard work we put in last season with the low numbers we had and its hard to grow when we dont have all the neccesary instruments to increase the size of our band when students are unable to afford a horn of they own.

I want to be able to make sure we are able to do that and also just inspire at least one child to see the true experience of being and band but becoming a musician.
