Let's Connect Through Distance Learning!

Help me give my students a visual tool to use especially during distance learning. This Elmo document camera will help me be able to display books and other resources through online learning.

My Students

My students come from all different backgrounds. I have 28 bright individuals who thrive in a creative, elaborate, and diverse classroom. Most of my students speak a second language other than English. The languages that are represented in my class are Spanish, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Mongolian and Vietnamese. We celebrate everyone's culture in my class, and my students love to share their traditions with everyone.

We all come from different backgrounds, but in our virtual classroom, we are one community.

My class is a sweet bunch that includes and welcomes anyone who comes into the classroom. I love their enthusiasm to learn every day!

My Project

By having a good working document camera, I will be able to show books as I am reading to the class, show examples of work, and also show how to solve math problems. With distance learning and having only one camera show my face, it will be extremely beneficial to have another way to display my teaching. The kids will be able to see more than just me.

This donation will help my students be more engaged and and most importantly, have access to the materials I am teaching with.

I feel a document camera will enhance our learning and allow my students to feel almost as if we were in an actual classroom.
