Let's Connect Our Learning to Interesting Math Stories
Help me give my students more exposure to engaging narratives that will develop their critical thinking, have them collaborate through discussions, and even be inspired to create their own math stories.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Math Stories resources will allow my students to see math through storytelling, making abstract concepts more tangible and relatable. By engaging with these stories, they will deepen their understanding of word problems, develop critical thinking skills, and enhance their ability to collaborate through discussion. These materials will also inspire them to create their own math stories, reinforcing their learning in a creative and meaningful way.
My goal is to help students make real-world connections with math, showing them how mathematical concepts apply to everyday life.
Through these resources, I want to foster confidence in problem-solving and encourage a love for math that extends beyond the classroom.
What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to learn, despite facing economic challenges. Their determination to grow and succeed inspires me every day, and I want to provide them with the tools and opportunities they deserve to thrive.
