Let's Collaborate to Cozy Up the Resource Room Reading Nook!
Help me give my students a cozy reading nook with comfortable furniture, a white noise machine to drown out distractions from the hallway, and flexible seating for small group learning in our reading area.

My Project
The 3rd-4th grade Resource Room is in need of a makeover. We need comfortable, yet flexible seating for our reading nook/literacy center. The patio furniture will upgrade the space, the light covers and backdrop will bring a touch of nature to our windowless classroom. The pillows and seat cushions will add a comfortable touch and encourage students to relax and read. The classroom job chart will encourage responsibility and respect for our materials. The white noise machine will allow for greater concentration and drown our noise/distractions from the hallway. Pawz the Calming Pup color will encourage calmness and with it's 5-10 minute timer give a visual representation to the time spent in the reading nook, ensuring that all students get their chance to read.
