My Project

My students are still struggling with problem solving and working together since going through isolation and distance learning due to the COVID pandemic. They struggle with motivation, social skills, and engagement. My goal with the STEM projects and robots I’ve selected is to inspire them to think critically and to work together to solve problems and be creative. I am creating a makerspace in my classroom this year and will devote at least one day per week to these stem projects. I also believe it will help motivate students by allowing them to work in teams and to move beyond the regular classroom.
