Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth grade students are very loving, caring, and curious. They love being engaged in the classroom and truly appreciate all things donated to the classroom. In addition, these curious fourth graders love learning! My students come from very low socioeconomic backgrounds and do not always have the access to technology.

Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch.

We have the highest rate of ELL (English language learners) in the state and a high number of special education students.

My Project

The students will use the happy birthday pencils and stickers to help them feel special on their birthday. The students love getting something that helps make their birthday stand out. The students also need some incentives for the prize box such as two different types of wrist bands and pencil top erasers.

The students get rewarded for good behavior and following expectations.

These fun and unique prizes will help be the extra incentive the students need to work towards. I also like to have candy in the classroom. I use candy such as M&M'sand skittles with the prize box but also while the students are working diligently.
