This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Lunar New Year is a time of family, togetherness, and new beginnings. By bringing this celebration to our classroom, we honor the cultural heritage of students who celebrate this holiday and promote inclusivity and respect among all learners.

Help my Pre-K students immerse themselves in the rich traditions of Lunar New Year by exploring its vibrant customs, stories, and flavors.

We will read the books at circle time which will spark interest in the celebration. Cooking supplies will allow hand on experience with creating new year foods. With your support, we can create a hands-on, culturally enriching experience that fosters learning and respect for diversity. Thank you Donor Choose!
