Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is full of diversity. My diverse classroom of students deserves an opportunity to celebrate their rich heritage and culture with their peers. As the school year moves forward our students take part in family celebrations in a wide variety of holidays.

The linen bags, candy, cookies, and other materials in this project would give my students the tools to share and learn more about a variety of cultures that impact our world.

More importantly, they will have an opportunity to identify and share more about their own cultural experiences. The treats will give my students a taste of cultures as we create some meaningful crafts.
