Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students are full of energy and have an excitement for learning. They appreciate the little things, which makes teaching so amazing. I can show my class a picture of something to simple, and they come up with tons of questions and observations. They work hard and they love to learn.

My 26 students are amazing kids and aim to always have a growth mindset.

My school is a Title I school and we all work as a team. We strive to see growth in each and every one of our students and, in order for that, they need to receive the best education and differentiated instruction. I believe I could make that difference in each of my first graders, and I am excited to see what the growth and hard work my class accomplishes this year and future years.

My Project

This project will be used to catch my kiddos up to the first grade standards. About half of my class have never been to school before due to the pandemic and kindergarten not being required here in Arizona.

This project if full of leveled books as well as a teachers pay teachers gift code that will be used to purchase engaging lessons that I will be able to use daily for my kids.

Teachers pay teachers is a great teacher source to find standard based lessons and curriculums that could be used in all subject areas, that is not provided by my school.
