This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every day I meet with parents for IEP and 504 meetings and would like to make the classroom/office more inviting. I want my classroom/office to feel like a home, for all! When parents walk in, I want them to feel comfortable and at ease when we chat it up about their kiddo.
New classroom carpets will also provide a cozy place for kiddos just needing a quick break in the classroom/office comfort spot.
Oftentimes, we just need a quick break to regroup and then get ready to tackle the day!
One last thing on the list is much-needed ink! With IEP and 504 documents often being over 30 pages each, we tend to run out of ink pretty quickly. Ink is always needed!
