Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our elementary school is located in the Bronx, and more than 95% of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced-price meals and many of the students live in temporary housing. My students love to learn by using all kinds of hands-on activities in centers. The centers provide differentiation since my students have different learning processes. What I love about my students is that they love to be independent and they also love to try new things. In addition, each of them has inspired me to bring new ideas to storage and design our classroom that will best fit them. My students in Pre-k are still learning to know where to put things back and where they can access them, but we are building their independent skills. For this reason, I need your help to get my students storage with a large capacity for games and toys we will use in our centers.

These clear bins will allow me to organize my materials for center learning so students can easily access the tools.

My students also participate in center activities each day so they will have the opportunity to get the activity bins out themselves. For this reason, I need your help to get my students storage with a large capacity for games and toys that we will use in our centers. We are requesting a tower clear bin where we can add different objects and toys where students can explore and take part in hands-on learning. I desperately need your help to provide enough storage for my centers and give students the right tools for them to play. Thank you so much for reading this request. My students will be so thrilled!
