Have you ever wanted to color but did not have any paper or markers? The NOOKS can be your solution.
I teach second grade at a public school in an impoverished area in Philadelphia.
I have a class of students who love to do art projects. Unfortunately my school does not offer art classes. I am hoping to teach my students how to be kind to the earth as well as be creative at the same time.
My Project
I am hoping to get three NOOKS and three NOOK covers in order to allow my students to be creative and also go green at the same time. There are many art apps on the NOOKS that allow the students to express their creativity. In addition to my students improving their art skills, they will also improve their technology and literacy skills. They will also be able to read about artists on the NOOKS.
Please help my students reach their creative potential.
Their favorite art app on the NOOK is a drawing game featured on the story Fancy Nancy. I would love for my students to be artistic.
