My Project
Many of my students struggle with reading. I see their motivation and desire to be grade-level readers. These manipulatives will allow my students to creatively learn foundational skills that many of them lack. These foundational skills are prerequisites needed to be fluent readers. The decodable passage activities will give every student the ability to take a passage/text, break it down, and build fluency. The activities will also allow my students to have a hands-on approach while learning. This will tremendously benefit my kinesthetic learners. The materials that I have chosen will definitely help my students show significant growth in reading.
