This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to jump and bounce. When my school has Field Day or any special event, I would love to have this bounce house offered for my students. It can be very challenging to meet all of my students' needs; however, this item will be something that each child can participate in and truly love!
Jumping can be an important coping mechanism, serving as a way to regulate sensory input, release pent-up energy, and self-soothe when experiencing overwhelming emotions or sensory overload.
This bounce house at Field Day will help to ensure every student of mine feels included, valued, and connected!
