This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my current middle school are hard-working and dependable. In the three years I have spent there my classes have been compiled with students that are eager to learn and strive to beat all their goals. I haven't met my future students yet, but I'm sure my new group will not disappoint me in thriving for similar outcomes.
Students need to be given the right opportunities to allow their minds to think, grow and expand on the important events that surround their everyday lives.
The right atmosphere and encouragement will flourish their independent inquiries and allow them to continue on a positive and meaningful future.
My Project
Some of the items will allow a comfortable office space to be able to teach my students from home. I will have access to speakers to be able to hear their responses while teaching virtually through Zoom lessons. Students will join breakout rooms through Zoom for collaborative discussions. I will be able to hear their discussions and provide effecive feedback. I will be utilizing the laptop platform to be able to see the screen at an eye level. This will give me a better view of their reactions to the lessons learned. They will submit Flipgrid submissions with live video responses. The raised screen will allow them to see me better until I am able to teach them face to face.
