My Students
Our students come from a mixed socioeconomic background. We live in an area that is a combination of a rural and small-town feel. Our students are active, engaged learners that, when giving the proper guidance, materials, and support, can create amazing things with their imaginations.
Our students are creative-minded, active learners who deserve the opportunity to expand their horizons and learn from experiences.
My Project
My classroom has been one that centers on the idea of stations where the students can actively learn about history. However, with the current educational environment changing on a daily basis due to the pandemic, I have been looking for new ways to ensure students are actively engaged in their learning.
Lets get students to show their creativity while illustrating what they have learned with interactive notebooks.
The gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers will help me supplement the unit on Civics that I teach in the fall. There are two bundles that I am looking to purchase which contain engaging, fun activities that help students really examine how the nation started and forces them to think about many of the successes and failures that existed during the early days of our nation.
