My Students
This year our fourth grade class is a beautiful mix of our previous 3rd grade class, and new scholars from the community to our school. After a whirlwind of a year, our students have shown us their true passion for learning through perseverance and community strength.
My Project
My students will be the first fourth grade class at my school. As an ELA and Social Studies teacher I think it is imperative that I have books that represent their interests and ones that they can relate to. This is my first year of having my own classroom along with it being the first year for fourth grade at our school. Building a strong classroom library as well as having supplies to help me meet my students needs is essential for a strong entrance into the new year. Having a fridge will help me keep my students lunches fresh and having water on hand to avoid students needing to leave the classroom often. I want my students to feel bright and positive energy in my classroom, having colored paper will be used in a multitude of ways. Please help me build a exciting classroom environment for my students.
