Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of life and energy. Every day they walk into my classroom eager and ready to learn. They always want to know what is in store for them and what new concepts they are going to learn.

I keep the love of learning alive every day!

My students strive to learn new things daily and never give up. Our class takes all learning styles into consideration and strives to make learning fun and engaging with hands on and cooperative learning strategies.

We live in an area where most of the students need help buying school supplies, uniforms, and receive free or reduced lunch. Although I do not have control of their home lives, I do have control of the love and learning that goes into their school day. It is my duty not only teach my students but to also create a safe and loving environment for them.

My Project

This world is filled with all kinds of different learners. I believe that if a student is comfortable, they will be more successful academically. This will be my first year incorporating flexible seating. I have done research and would love to be able to give my students different seating options.

My students will love being able to have an option, especially a comfortable one!

I would love to provide them with the best seat for them to feel a sense of empowerment in earning a choice over their learning environment.

The balance balls, wobble chairs, and the chair bands will benefit the students who need movement in order to concentrate. This will allow them slight movement without the disruption. The floor seats will be perfect for those students who prefer a back on their seat but not being confined to a chair.
