Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students are full of energy and have an excitement for learning. They appreciate the little things, which makes teaching so amazing. I can show my class a picture of something to simple, and they come up with tons of questions and observations.

My 26 students are amazing kids and aim to always have a growth mindset.

My school is a Title I school and works as a team. We strive to see growth in each and every one of our students and, in order for that, they need to receive the best education and differentiated instruction. I believe I could make that difference in each of my first graders, and I am excited to see what the growth and hard work my class accomplishes this year and future years.

My Project

My kids have been learning virtually for about a full year. They have been using their chrome books to read books and learn at home. We are finally going back into the classroom after spring break, and I am so excited to teach them face to face! I thought it would be amazing to provide them with a class iPad that can be shared during reading time to engage them in reading and for them to continue to use “razkids” to build their reading skills and go up reading levels! The osmo will engage the kids in reading activities and allow them to get connected to new technology that they are not provided in their homes.
