My Project

In 4 year old kindergarten, many children are experiencing school for the very first time! Every child is unique and comes into the classroom with different characteristics, experiences, and knowledge. Some have learned how to regulate their emotions, but most 4 year olds need to learn how to self-regulate. Children learn through their senses!

A light table with various manipulatives will be the perfect addition to my classroom.

The items on my list include academic items (letters, numbers, etc.) As well as sensory items (beads, blocks, etc.). Students will visit the light table on a regular basis as a way to learn through their senses.

May this inspire them to let their light shine!
