Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting both learning toys and games for my kindergartners. These materials will be used during instruction, and on days where we have FreePlay. There are some CVC games and materials where they can use their imagination and run wild.
We need to bring back play in kindergarten!
The kids are five and six-years old, and expected to do first grade and second grade work. They need time to be kids. They need time to socialize. They need to be able to persevere when things get hard. These games will be an outlet for all of that. it will also give me the materials that will make learning more engaging and fun.
