Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine wanting to do your best in school, but simple things like sharpening pencils are out of your reach. Where homework cannot be completed due to reasons like "I didn't have a pencil". You can help me change that.

I'm expected to have a wonderful group of kids this year.

I work in a 12:1.1 Special Education Class where my students will be full of life. It's a 3rd, 4th, 5th New York, inner city bridge class where my task at hand will be challenging. I work in an high need school where the students get a chance to learn the quality of an education.

My Project

I work with a special group who are easily distracted. My students need Privacy Partitions, a supply of pencils and a good sharpener to assist them in becoming great writers. These resources will change their lives and give them an opportunity to be creative with no distractions. It will also offer a supply of pencils that will not run out on them. These resources will let them know that there are others out there who wish for them to succeed.

My project is so important, because I feel every student deserves an opportunity to work and learn without the worries of not having daily supplies, and or being distracted by their peers during any creative moment.
