My students are eager learners! They work hard to improve their understanding of math. However, most have skill deficits and use online learning tools to help close the skill gap. The online learning programs allow students to practice fluency and problem solving in math. Students are able to listen to the problems read aloud and the instruction that is provided. Listening to instructions is vital for my students who struggle with vocabulary and are English Language Learners. Most of my students read below their grade level.
Providing students with working headphones will help to close the learning gaps in my classroom.
