Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am hoping to receive wireless lamps to use instead of the overhead fluorescent lights in my classroom. My students are always asking to work without the lights on. We have a few lamps in our classroom already, but they are not quite bright enough.
These lamps will help light up our classroom without the negative effects of fluorescent lights.
Our classroom only has two outlets, so these wireless lamps will be perfect to place on each table.
My students have also requested a colorful strip of LED lights for our room. They have all these ideas of ways we can use them and I hope to bring their visions to life!
In addition to the lights, I am hoping to receive cords to charge our class devices as well as a class set of the book we will be using for our upcoming reading unit!
