My Project
These two items will be critical to the daily function of my new classroom. Many of our students prefer alternative lighting during certain academic activities, and the remote controls will allow us to use that lighting throughout the day. Studies have actually shown that classrooms with alternative lighting can foster a sense of peace and creativity in the space, as compared to traditional fluorescent lights.
The mailbox is essential to save me over an hour of sorting graded work and letters for the home each week.
This time can be used to plan more innovative lessons and class activities. In addition, this mailbox system will teach students to be responsible for their own papers and students can take on the job each week of sorting our papers.
