Brightly colored murals, beautiful garb, fresh fruits , and vegetables at the corner market, and the smell of delicious Indian food coming from the nearby kitchen; this is the environment my students live in.
We have a beautiful neighborhood that embodies the Indian culture.
Unfortunately, my school is in a low-income neighborhood. My students, who are a diverse mix of cultures, attend a school that strives to give them an excellent education. Many of them are first-generation Americans and are excited to begin school.
My Project
Now that students cannot share their objects or materials students will need their own tool kits and resources. A quality color printer will ensure they will get their own materials and resources they need to learn. HP printers are great for producing clear and colored ink. The quantity of printing will also be increased this year as well so a printer that will be able to uphold individual copies is important! Graphic organizers, math tools, and even short stories and passages are just some of the things my kiddos will need their own copy of! Help!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
