This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will allow me to help my students who come from low-income families. The notebooks, pencils, folders are basic and indispensable materials that allow my students to be properly prepared to start a successful school year.
Despite the technological world in which we live, I faithfully believe that note taking is an important skill in learning, assimilation and memorization of knowledge in class.
My students will be going to write and reflect during my algebra 1 class. Providing my students with folders allows them to keep their academic material properly organized.
As simple and basic as the materials may seem, using them in the best way will give the student the opportunity to organize the knowledge in a notebook that they can always keep and refer back to the written material as often as necessary. Writing, taking notes, organizing, despite how simple it looks is extremely essential when it comes to learning.
