This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is made up of English Language Learners, general education students and students with disabilities. Even with their various learning challenges and language challenges, my students never fail to exceed my expectations, which as a teacher is always humbling. These incredible learners deserve to have the supplies they need.

My First Graders are very enthusiastic and excited learners. They just need some additional tools to get them on their way to learning.
My Project
My students are lovers of books. Books help them escape into a new, magical world and teach them new exciting things. Most of my readers yearn for more delicious books to entice them while some are still struggling with beginner books.
All of my students require books and supplies specific to their individual academic needs.
My readers will be able to improve their skills and enjoy reading books such as the Pete the Cat series and Fancy Nancy. My struggling readers will use interactive centers which help them with rhyming and beginning and ending sounds. My ELLs will benefit from the vocabulary cards to be able to practice their English. The supplies will go to help all of my students with day to day work and will also help me create better lessons for them.
I want to be able to help each of my students, no matter their reading level. These books, supplies and interactive centers will help me do just that!
