My Students
Middle Schoolers here at EW are truly special. They come from all over a large city to form a small inner-city community of their own. They love the building in which they work every day and enjoy seeing their teachers and classmates.
One of the most astounding attributes of our students is that they are completely inclusive of all children who come to our school.
I have seen peers go out of their way to make sure others feel included in any activity that may be going on in our building. They work together to foster ideas and incentives during the Advisory time each morning.
I'm proud to work with the students in our building and they have earned a tremendous amount of respect from our community.
My Project
Social distance is real and it is impacting the students in our classrooms. Middle school students, especially, need movement in their day to provide an outlet of energy their bodies need.
These desk stands and small group partitions will let students stay on their feet and collaborate safely.
Students crave social time and with social distance guidelines in place, it becomes tricky for our adolescents. Although our we have provided times for our students to safely socialize, we need more opportunities within the classroom.
Lastly, by donating to or project you will be contributing the to the safety of our classroom. Sanitizing wipes and liquid for hands is very hard to come by for many students. These supplies will provide our students much comfort.
