it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a school located in the heart of San Diego. 100% of our student population receives free lunch. My students are some of the most amazing students that you will ever meet. They are from all over the world. Many came to this country to escape hardships in their countries.
My students want to learn so badly and I will stop at nothing to provide them with the best education that I possibly can.
Every donation you make to our class helps make it possible for a child to access learning in a way that they may not have gotten otherwise. You can make a difference. <3
My Project
The materials requested in this project would help my students have the tools to bring their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) to life. Not only will the students be able to design, they will be able to have something to physically show for it.
Hands on learning is so very important for our students.
The wireless, all in one, photo printer and the cricket explore air will allow my students to bring their digital designs to life. Through the computer, the students will use science, technology, engineering, art and math to create design parts of their learning. These projects include things such as brochures, diagrams, stand out art, maps, vinyls, etc. we are fortunate enough to have the co
The scholastic news will help the students be well rounded and keep them up to date in current events. My students have always loved Scholastic News. It allows them to have something created especially for them. We use SN in multiple ways in our day. We may use it for writing (using examples they have given), text features, finding words, etc. The possibilities are endless.
