My students are some of the most creative people that I have met! They have big ideas that they want to follow through on, but we sometimes have difficulty getting all the items that they need to do this. The Rode Wireless Mics will allow students to quick capture quick audio with our DSLR cameras. The audio the cameras capture is noisy and the simple addition of these microphones makes a big impact to the story they are telling.

The Rode Boom Poles and XLR cables allow the students to seamlessly connect directional mics when they are creating short films. We were fortunate to get a few boom mics two years ago, but now we need the rest of the components to make it all work. Of course these mics won't work at all without power! That is where the batteries come into play. We need to power the mics so the students' voices can be heard! They really have so much to say.
I want to give this opportunity to all my students so they can see the impact that they will have on their school, community, the world. They are creating all kinds of digital content and in the process learning how to filter through the noise to find information that is worthy of telling. The SD cards allow the students to transfer all this sound to their computers so that they can finish producing their content. My students are amazing journalists, filmmakers, content creators, and overall human beings. Giving to them allows them to continue to grow.
