My Students

Our students work hard, try new things and are kind and thoughtful. They come from many different backgrounds, but are mostly middle class with attentive parents and high expectations.

These students are at all different technological levels depending on their exposure at home and outside of school classrooms.

We are a school with English language learners and fluent speakers and writers. I wish to give them each the most full technology experience possible so their eyes are open to all their potential.

My Project

Students in our computer science lab are using their skills to code, create and produce digital media. Currently, they do not have access to a microphone to personalize their projects. Students will use a microphone to speak about the book report they created using a digital video application. Students will create unique sounds to include in their coding projects. Students will be able to record and personalize presentations, invitations, and the unique call-to-action projects they care about. Having access to a quality set of headphones with a built-in microphone will help expand their scope in all things computer science-related.
