it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Technology is the key to our new curriculum. We have all online math and reading curriculum. We can not use our technology without this bulb.
I am a teacher in an inner city school.
It has100 percent minority students, and all receive free and reduced lunch. We are a pre-K-8 school. My students enjoy the interactive smartboard lessons. They are colorful and interactive. It helps to keep their attention.
My Project
This resource will allow us to use our technology. Without it, I can not show videos, use the smartboard or project our curriculum for the class. This bulb is essential for our classroom environment. We are using a new reading and math curriulum this year that allows us to show math virtual manipulatives. Our textbook and all class work is online. I can not show the student and model for them exactly how their book looks without the use of my projector. Our textbook can be shown on the board and the words light up as the story is read allowed. This helps students to hear good reading and shows them where we are reading on the page.
This project is key due to the lack of funding in our schools.
With all the education budget cuts, our schools can not afford to pay for the upkeep on the technology that has been installed. Please help us shine the light again.
