My Project

In my second grade classroom students are held to high expectations. They have structured routines and rigorous instruction for most of the day. With all of this hard work, my 7 and 8 year old students deserve to also be able to have fun and play!

A LEGO table can be an incredibly effective and motivating reward and an opportunity for positive peer interactions.

Students in my classroom can earn a set amount of time (e.g., 5, 10, or 15 minutes) at the LEGO table for demonstrating desired behaviors, completing assignments, or achieving learning goals.

I know that this addition to my classroom will have an exceptional impact on our classroom culture.
