Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

During this time, all of my music students were sent home at a moments notice, unable to retrieve or borrow music instruments and resources needed to continue their musical studies. So many of these students are stuck at home for the rest of the school year. That means those who are preparing to audition for high school next year will not have access to the resources they need. Without these resources, many of these students will be unable to continue at the next level.

My Project

It pains my heart that so many of my students cannot continue to study music during this time of social isolation. We have so many students who have emailed me or text me asking to study music or looking for a way to receive a musical instrument. Getting these portable keyboards will help me do so!

Giving my students these piano keyboards will allow them to take seminar piano classes online.

So many of my students are suffering from form of loneliness or boredom due to the everyday grind of online classes. bringing back music classes, like online piano seminar classes, will return some of the fun and curiosity that learning is meant to have. Help give the joy of music.
