This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Games area great way to develop communication skills while learning at the same time!
My students are intellectually gifted but sometimes struggle with socially interacting effectively.
They are bright, sweet, and hungry to learn but need engaging academic instruction to maintain their attention (which at times can be extremely short).
My Project
Games are a great way to engage students attention for longer periods of time as they interact and problem solve together. We can use these games throughout our instruction as a way to enhance our learning and even cap-off a new unit. We will use them as a whole class as well as in small groups.
Resources are limited for both my students and myself and your assistance will really enhance the educational experience for all.
I hope to eventually have a library of educational games that rivals our literary library...
