it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.”– Anthony J. D'Angelo
It is my passion to instill in my students a love for learning from the time they walk in the door.
The first day of school is the first time many of my students have ever been in any sort of school setting. Many have never been exposed to books or games or even crayons. However, these "obstacles" do not stop me from challenging my students in the classroom or keep them from rising to the challenge while also being excited about learning.
My Project
What kid doesn’t love to feel independent and have fun while learning? These rainbow drawer towers will help my students do both of these things! They are perfect for storing our math and literacy games. Not only are these drawers bright and colorful, they are also easy for five and six year olds to use! Students can easily choose a drawer and take it anywhere around the room to use.
My students will be able to choose from over forty educational games that will be stored in these drawers.
These games will help my students build both math and literacy skills. Oftentimes, when kids are playing educational games, they have no idea they are even learning! These drawers are perfect for allowing independence in the classroom and also giving my students access to so many fun games!
