This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our students want to learn how to be artists and create amazing masterpieces. Unfortunately this is not always possible because we don't have enough resources to buy materials. I want to make this year special for my little artists because they do deserve the best.
Printmaking is such a fun and elaborative process and I truly believe they will love it too.
Similar to working with clay or fabric, printmaking will help children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk taking and inventiveness. They will be able to create prints that will last them forever. I want to give them the opportunity to try as many techniques as possible.
