This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a pre-kindergarten teacher, I strive to make learning as fun as possible. My ultimate goal every year is to produce little life-long learners who love coming to school everyday. I provide a space that is safe, engaging, and encouraging. My students have big imaginations and a limitless amount of creativity.
These art materials will give them ample opportunities to let their creativity shine and a safe place for them dry.
When I bring out paint, every student gets excited. Some art projects we create are: letter art for each letter of the alphabet, holiday art, self portraits, and directed drawings. But our favorite kind of projects are process art. Process art allows students to explore and express themselves freely. They have the freedom to create anything they wish, letting their imaginations and creativity soar!
