This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My first-graders are loving, caring, and encouraging of one another. They are hands-on learners and are always up for a challenge! They come to school ready to learn, especially when they are given support and the appropriate resources. We love working as a team because it allows us to thrive in different learning environments.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing me to continue to let creativity and hands-on learning occur in our remote and hybrid classroom.
We are beginning our new units this quarter, and I would really like to continue to send my students math manipulatives.
After sending them counters and cubes, I realized how much my students appreciated receiving these materials to help support their learning.
My students are also very creative. However, sometimes their creativity can be limited if they do not have the materials they need. I would like to send my students crayons, markers, and colored pencils to continue to support their creativity. We would really appreciate your support!
