Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's time to step away from the screen, technology and gaming devices! Next school year, we are adding in an "extra" period a day in which we will tap into students' Social Emotional Learning.
Let the games begin - my specific group of students will step out of their comfort zone and be challenged to use their brains to solve problems, puzzles, mazes, complete Mad Libs, and find hidden pictures - all without their screens in front of them!
In the past 4-5 years, students have become comfortable in being able to find the answer or solve the problem quickly and easily (usually using technology). I'm going to take them back in time and show them a whole different world where problems can be solved and questions can be answered in a unique (and fun) way...through different kinds of activities and puzzles.
