My students are budding artists! With the materials requested, they will be able to express themselves artistically.
Hello!
My students range from 3 to 6 year olds. We are a multi- age public Montessori classroom in Chicago, IL. Most of my children receive free and reduced lunch. They enjoy and are very excited with new works in the art area! They cannot wait to translate their creativity into tangible works they can share with their friends and families!
My Project
Through the arts, my students learn to hone their fine motor skills, concentration, coordination and independence. It gives me great joy when I see them plan, problem solve and enjoy their artistic process. They are very lucky to have art class once a week but are hungry for more ways to express themselves!
The materials I am requesting will help my students' hand and eye coordination. For example, using the scissors to cut pictures or painting on the mini canvases. The sunprint kit will be used in a lesson about how the sun is a source of energy and can be used to produce art as well. The books will help immerse and inspire my students to more art.
Please help fulfill this project.
With these materials, you will be able to extend their creativity time and support great artworks from these very deserving children! Thank you very much in advance.
