My Students

My school is full of creative, curious, and high achieving students. These students have brought out the best teacher in me, they are eager to learn and achieve their best. These students have developed a culture to accept, challenge, and encourage others.

My students challenge my teaching abilities, with rigorous conversations and their drive to be the best they can be. My students are high achieving students that set the bar for high expectations for students, teachers, administration, and parents. It is our responsibility for these students to leave my room better than when they came in the first day of school

My Project

My students use technology half the time they are in my classroom for mathematics. This technology is used to help differentiate instruction for students. The students take diagnostics, learn lessons, take quizzes, and are rewarded with tokens to play games. The quality of headphones now provided to them is poor. I would love to provide quality head phones to make them comfortable with learning. This will help minimize distractions while engaging in new or remedial content on the computer. Students are also having to supply their own headphones which increases their load of materials to transport to and from class.
