This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students' emotional well-being during their early years has a powerful impact on their social relationships.
Emotionally healthy students are better able to establish and maintain positive relationships with adults and their peers.
These social-emotional learning toys and social-emotional manipulatives will help my students express their emotions in a productive way. These materials such as the sensory mats, jellyfish lamp, and sensory bottles will help my students become independent, interact more with peers, engage in meaningful relationships with others, control their emotions, and develop a positive self-image.
These skills are crucial for my student's successful participation in school and home experiences and their overall growth.
