it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every morning, students walk into our school buzzing and energetic, ready to learn. They come with questions, deep insights, and bright ideas. Being in middle school isn't easy though!
Let's start this school year off successfully!
Living in what was once considered "the poorest congressional district in the country", otherwise known as the South Bronx, our students face more challenges than some people we may know. Despite the challenges they may face outside of our walls, they give school their all and try their hardest every day.
My Project
We are asking for five Kindle Fire tablets, along with protective cases, to build our small Kindle Fire collection for our classroom. Having another set of five equals to ten Kindle Fire tablets that reaches many of our kids this school year!
These tablets will help in our daily classroom activities!
They will be an alternative to laptops for getting research done or typing a paper. They will be perfect for avid readers who may prefer a digital version of their books and to annotate. Instructional technology is key to making learning not only engaging for our kids, but also relevant and modern!
