My Students
My school is Title I school in a rural, socioeconomically diverse community. It is very important to me to provide new and exciting opportunities for my children to experience. I want to encourage my students to be life-long learners through memorable learning adventures. My students have a true thirst for knowledge and thrive when I can provide hands-on learning opportunities and projects/books they enjoy! All students have unique educational needs and through the funding of my projects, you will help my students become successful students and citizens!
My Project
The Get Your Teach On conference is two days, October 8 and 9, 2018. This conference is all about engaging students with new, meaningful strategies across all content areas. It will include literacy strategies, writing tools, tips for creating a rigorous, the positive environment, and how to incorporate music into the classroom! These strategies are proven and practiced by successful educators, like Hope King and Amy Lemons! These are educators that I admire and would love the opportunity to learn from!
As a second-year teacher, it is very important to me to continue my professional learning in order to be the best I can be for my students.
I want to strive to be a lifelong learner beside my students. I hope that what I learn will help my students reach their full potential! Thank you so much for visiting my project and for considering to help me Get My Teach On!
