My Project

In today’s world, where information and technology are always changing, it’s very important for students to have a strong understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The National Science Foundation says that improving students' skills in these subjects is essential for future success.

As a teacher, I get to work with a fantastic group of students who are excited about learning.

They make every day enjoyable as we explore new topics together. Even though they come from different backgrounds and some face financial challenges, they are among the most dedicated and impressive learners I have ever taught.

I am determined to give all my students, no matter their financial situation, the chance to explore the exciting world of STEM. Getting involved with STEM early can open many doors for their future. I am requesting Lego kits to enhance our STEM learning. Using the Flowers Bouquet Toys Building Blocks Set, students can learn about financial literacy by creating a budget for their flower arrangement project. They can allocate costs for different materials, discuss pricing for their bouquets, and calculate potential profits from a simulated sale. This hands-on activity reinforces the importance of budgeting and understanding expenses in real-life scenarios. Using a LEGO STEM flower kit, students can explore the principles of design and engineering by constructing complex structures, linking these ideas to the aerodynamics of aircraft. The plane model can then demonstrate how different parts, such as wings and fuselage, are crucial for flight, helping students grasp basic aviation concepts. By integrating both, students can learn how design thinking and innovation are essential in aviation and other fields.
