Let Me Count the Ways to Learning in Math!

Help me give my students the Math skills required for them to pass successfully to the next grades. Utilizing the Magnetic Math Activities (along with the flex headphones) will ensure knowledge of number concepts they need.

My Students

My students are like little sponges, the soak up all the happenings in our classroom. Each of them love learning something new. Sometimes I refer to them as magnets, because they are drawn to me and everything I teach them, this still amazes me. We went on a nature walk, as you can see from this picture, with our discovery tools and containers to observe and collect Scientific specimens. In the process, we discovered 11 caterpillars crawling up two of the trees, on our playground. The experience was priceless. One I know they will always remember.

My Project

Our recipe for success, is Y.O.U. The tools you provide will assist student in their achievement for success each year. Thank you, for your support. Skills will be elevated through kinetics, visuals, and audio interactive activities. I'm so excited for my students to receive and utilize these rich and engaging resources such as the Counting Cones, where students will make counting practice a real treat. Students simply identify, match, and coordinate by snapping scoop-tops to match the numeral printed on the cone. The Write Number Lines, allow children to explore counting, addition, and subtraction. The Giant Tracing Numbers, students just trace along the dotted lines of giant hardwood numbers to get hands-on writing practice with each stroke. And the Ten-Frames Class Set, my students can visualize a variety of math concepts with the skill-building trays and counters as they practice counting, adding, sorting and patterning. The hands on participatory engagement will yield a lasting love for the joy of learning. Thus, encouraging creativity, boosting esteem, and enthusiasm. The Magnetic Math Activity Tins, students will use magnets to fill in the blanks and get hands-on practice with identifying shapes, simple addition, number and sequencing. The Build-A-Number Houses, our hands-on hardwood blocks make it easy for the students to count and visualize quantities 1 to 10, roof block with numerals from 1 to 10 on one side and the corresponding number word on the other. Students will also practice building simple 3-letter words sound by sound. And the Change-A-Sound Flip Books focuses on beginning, middle or ending sounds. My students will just flip for these flip books to create 3 to 4 simple words that change by one letter at a time and they will see how changing a sound can change a word and the meaning.
