My Students
My students are curious kindergarteners exploring and learning new things for the first time! We are becoming readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists. Our elementary school is community school with diverse backgrounds from both Nevada and California. I have 22 students.
We are a hands-on learning classroom, in our classroom if we are not moving and exploring we are not learning!
They have learned they are a community of learners exploring and discovering new things through reading, writing, math and science.
My Project
Kindergarten students learn by doing, we need materials that are engaging and fun to explore! We will learn how to care and nurture living things and how important it is to think before always acting We will watch and explore different ways things need to grow. We will read about things in our world and discuss them as a class.
Having real-life examples of living things in our classroom creates scientific inquiry within little minds.
Having students in classroom explore on their own; creates a spark of creativity and ownership in their own learning. Learning in the classroom should be fun and engaging!
